Welcome to Mission Scuba!

Mission Scuba is brought to you by the Howard family of Henderson, Nevada.  Here you'll find a great collection of information relating to diving in Lake Mead, and a little bit about diving other places too.

Our whole family dives, and we don't mean just Mom, Dad and the kids.  We're talking Grandma, Grandpa, aunties, uncles, nephews, and cousins, so there's information here both for kids and adults, and both recreational diving in the beautiful and warm waters of the Caribbean, to cold water technical diving in Lake Mead.

You'd be amazed what lies beneath right here in our own back yard.  The cool fresh water of Lake Mead beautifully preserves wood and metal, so whether you're exploring the archeological treasures remaining from the construction of Hoover Dam in the 1930s, or the plane wrecks from the 1940s, you'll enjoy relatively undisturbed remains. 

Our dive vessel, the Narcosis, is a 20 foot, 1969 v-hull runabout customized by us to safely accommodate 4 technical divers or about 6 recreational divers.   We put a high priority on safety, so we're equipped with a quality marine radio, first aid, extra air, and oxygen.
