• August 16th, 2008 - 2 tank river drift dive down the Colorado River. Contact Desert Divers @ (702) 438-1000 to book your spot!  Super fun dives!   Awesome opportunity to see historic Black Canyon below Hoover Dam.

• August 2nd, 2008 - 2 tank deep dive in Lake Mead. Contact Desert Divers @ (702) 438-1000 to book your spot! 

• July 15, 2008 - Dept  of Reclamation updates Lake Mead water level forecast. (Typically this is done monthly) - They estimate that Lake Mead's water elevation will remain at 1105' through the end of 2008 and into early 2009.  This is based on snow pack in the Rockies and the elevation of water in Lake Powell behind Glen Canyon Dam.

• July 10, 2008 @ 6:30pm - Presentation by Lake Mead Technical Divers at Scuba Views Dive Shop.  This discussion will be about the B-29 Bomber that sunk in Lake Mead back in the 40s.

• May 24, 2008 - NPS announces the two permit holders for the B-29 Bomber charters for 2008 & 2009.  The two companies awarded the contract are XTreme Scuba of Ventura, CA, and Tech Diving Limited (TDL) of Lake Havasu City, AZ.  To book a charter to visit the B-29, visit http://www.xtremescubastore.com/index.aspx.

• March 9th, 2008 - Mission Scuba rescues battered boat from bad man, and begins conversion into technical dive boat.

• Jan 10th, 2008 - Andrew & Courtney (10 years old) earn their PADI Junior Open Water certification in Curacao.  Hurrary!
