Colorado River Drift Dive
What a dive!

Hoover Dam back side
Hoover Dam danger sign

Your dive will start at the base of historic Hoover dam, just yards from the bypass tunnels.
It's a fun dive down the river, letting the current take you. Swooping around rocks, hills and valleys, you'll have a great time. The speed and turbulence you experience depends on the amount of water is currently being released from the dam, so your journey can be a little mellow, or a truly wild ride.

The water in the Colorado River below the dam is clean and clear.
Visibility is great. Typically about 75-100 feet.
Water temperature will be in the low-mid 50s, so a 7mm wetsuit with hood and gloves is a must.
The good news is, all shops around Vegas have thick wetsuits for rent.
