Dive Table and Dive Computer Comparison
Is your dive computer liberal or conservative?
There's more to buying a dive computer than choosing one that looks good or has a good reliability history. Different brands of dive computers base their dive NDLs on different dive tables and have different levels of conservatism. Buying a computer that has an overly conservative algorithm could force you to cut a dive short, or keep you out of the water while your buddies go down for that 3rd or 4th dive.
We've created a table comparing several different dive tables and manufacturers.

These scuba dive table comparisons are provided as a reference only, and are in no way to be used for dive planning, a dive profile, or to figure a safe bottom or deco time.
Additionally, if you're in the market for a dive computer, download the manual for the model you're interested in from the manufacturer before buying and double check the dive table just in case it varies from what we have listed here. |
