Lake Powell Water Elevation

The number is the elevation of the water in Lake Mead as measured at the dam.
The water level in Lake Powell is "full" at 3700' in elevation and hold 23.5 million acre feet at this elevation.
There is a complicated formula for how/when they will start filling Lake Mead, but in a nutshell, if the snowpack in the Rockies is good, and Powell hits 3636 in elevation, they will start filling Lake Mead.
