Our Dive Boat
The Narcosis
She's ugly, but does a great job!

This little lady was rescued from a bad, bad man that couldn't see the beauty within.  All she needed was a name and some TLC...

We've spent a lot of time and energy customizing the Narcosis to comfortably and safely accommodate divers and their gear.  Our benches were designed and custom built by us with 6061-T6 structural aluminum alloy and waterproof deck composite, then carefully positioned for the best weight distribution when the boat is fully loaded with gear.

She's equipped with a marine radio, first aid, oxygen, plenty of rope and rigging, jiggly hula girl on the dash, a healthy layer of finely crushed Quagga Muscle shells on the deck, and dual isolated electrical circuits for reliable auto bilge pumping and guaranteed starting.  We never launch without a good supply of tasty Nabisco treats.

In August 2008 we custom built a 5 rung custom dive ladder that
can easily support a fully geared tech diver.

Early 2009 met us with engine trouble and a decision of whether to scrap the boat, or pay for repairs.  We opted to rebuild the top-end of the engine and ramp up the horsepower a bit to make things a little more fun.
The Narcosis is now equipped with an Edelbrock Performer manifold and Edelbrock 600cfm marine carburetor with a Mallory electronic ignition and marine distributer.

Yar!  A gash in the keel required repair before we could try the boat out for the first time.

Luckily we had some prior experience in fiberglass work, so the repair was something we could do in the driveway at home.

Inspecting the patched keel before we applied the gel coat.
